Azusa

There’s a mix of Ranch, Craftsman, and newly built homes on the market.

Welcome to Azusa

Sitting at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains along historic Route 66 is Azusa, a city of around 50,000 that was the center of the great citrus belt of Southern California during the first half of the 20th century. There’s a mix of Ranch, Craftsman, and newly built homes on the market, and the city’s Mission/Spanish Revival Civic Center, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, is well worth a visit. Also of note is the Georgian-style Lindley-Scott House, built in 1911, a popular venue for local events. Azusa also boasts the start of the 38-mile San Gabriel River Trail, the bustling Congregation Ale House, the 60-plus-acre Azusa River Wilderness Park, and a Metro Gold Line station. The annual Golden Days weekend carnival held each fall includes a charming parade and live mariachi music.
