Welcome to Arcadia
Situated 13 miles northeast of Downtown Los Angeles, Arcadia is home to the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden (where Lucky Baldwin’s famed Queen Anne Cottage is located), Santa Anita Park, and Santa Anita Canyon, full of varied landscapes and the dependable 50-foot waterfall Sturtevant Falls. Up to 100,000 food lovers eat their way through Arcadia’s 626 Night Market, a three-day Asian-style open-air bazaar with 250-plus food, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions held four times over the summer. An Asian American majority city often referred to as Chinese Beverly Hills, there’s an embarrassment of culinary riches from hot pot at Shabu Lin to soup dumplings at Din Tai Fung. There’s also a local Westfield mall and a pedestrian-friendly Downtown district featuring local coffee shops, bars, and live music. Expect to encounter historical properties as well as large-scale new builds.
