Outrageous mansions with tens of thousands of square feet of living space are fun to gawk at and hard to ignore, but what about the other (and more attainable) end of the spectrum—what about really small houses? We’ve combed the greater Los Angeles area in search of the smallest houses for sale right now, and mapped out the best-looking ones and those with the most potential. From airy Mid-Century domiciles in Echo Park to arty Venice bungalows, all are under 885 square feet, but their prices range vastly, from less than $300,000 tonearly $2.6 million. That pricey residence is also our smallest, at just 454 square feet; is it worth it?
